Symposium, 2004

The Subtle Technologies symposium is an opportunity for scientists and artists to connect and publicly contemplate how art and science act upon one another and reshape perspectives. It is a forum to share each other's language in areas searching for definitions, explanations and meaning. Subtle Technologies' diverse program, creates an immersive environment that stimulates discussion, new conceptual perspectives and research approaches.

Each session runs a full 50 minutes to ensure presenters have enough time to give a comprehensive overview of their research and respond to audience questions. Our symposium centre, Innis Town Hall is not only an ideal lecture theatre, it also boasts a fully equipped cinema, allowing the projection of most media formats.
